The Time Traveler's Possibilities

When you look up at night,
and see all the points of light.

Trillions of stars,
countless past infinities.

Spread there before you,
a universe of multiplicities.

And so it is with time travel,
and it's unlimited possibilities.

Only the limits of the mind,
keep you from living,
in a different place and time.

You can create your own world,
infinitely different in it's activities,
by simply following your proclivities.

THE TIME TRAVELERS PRICE

The bullets fly,

the blood flows.

The machines fail,

smoke they do trail.

The surgeons try,

the warriors die.

The nurses cry,

fellow warriors say good by.

This is the price,

for flying in the sky.

"The heavens were the grandstands,

and only the gods were spectators.

The stake was the world,

the forfeit was the player's place at the table,

and the game had no recess.

It was the most dangerous of all sports

and the most fascinating.

It got in the blood like wine.

It aged men forty years in forty days.

It ruined nervous systems in an hour."

THE MINDLESS MADNESS OF WAR

Lost in the ravishes of time.

You're just about to lose your mind.

There is only so much you can do.

And even less when you've got the flu.

You fight until you hit the wall.

But can you survive the fall?

You're not getting any younger, not even a day.

So, for this, how much does it pay?

The machines get older.

The wrecks still smolder.

The days blur to one.

The fight not yet won.

The deadly cannons still yet chime.

For the final hour it's not yet time.

And yet, in this mindless madness of war.

You ask yourself, can you save, just one more...
